I haven't had to use copyright yet, but I am sure that I will be using it a lot in the future and I can imagine that it will be very difficult. I can except I will have to use it on lots of lesson plans and test/quizzes in the future for my students. I remember previous teacher talking to me about and saying how pretty much everything they do or use today they have to do some sort of report to submit and have to copyright many things. With fair use of materials I can imagine how annoying it must be to do every little thing from using pictures to uploading things online for your students. As a teacher I am going to have to be very patient and calm when working on things that need to be copyrighting or I may not even use anything that needs to be copyrighted. That would be a very lazy teacher, so I probably will just have to suck it up and make things for my students.
I don't want to sound to confident but I am pretty tech savvy with twitter, so I have yet to learn anything new yet. But my personal learning I have noticed that I am following amazing accounts that I can actually learn things from them. In the future I will be able to incorporate word and twitter to make students use only 140 characters to type things up on word, which I think will be very fun!
I loved your graphics! They made me want to read your blog post even more. I can definitely relate to the first picture. I agree with the fact that I haven't had to deal with copyrights either.
ReplyDeleteReally loved the graphics! I agree that twitter has been helpful in making me learn how to summarize what I'm saying because of the word count.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE that ecard you used and all of your graphics!
ReplyDeleteUsing copyrighted materials seems scary to me, too. But like you said, it is important to be precise and patient when it comes to creating lesson plans or providing my class with materials. No lazy teachers allowed! ;)
